How do I get to Strummercamp?

How do I buy tickets?
Tickets are available on the ticket page of this site. They can be purchased securely via PayPal.

How do I get a ticket for Friday night only?
No tickets are available for the Friday night only. Admission to Fridays entertainment is available only to those who hold a valid weekend ticket.

When can I arrive?
Gates open at 3pm on friday 23 May , with the first band on stage at 7pm. Saturday and Sunday gates open at 9am and the first band will be on stage at 12 Noon. Day ticket holders must be off site by Midnight of their chosen day. Weekend ticket holders must check off the site no later than noon on Monday 26 May.

What shall I bring?
If you are camping, make sure you bring a tent, sleeping bag and warm clothes for night time. Getting around the festival site after dark may require you bringing a torch. Under no circumstances will gas stoves, candles, barbeques, fireworks, or any other objects that could present a Health and Safety risk be allowed on the festival site. Anyone found in possesion of any of these items will have them confiscated. Please also note that our event license strictly forbids patrons from bringing their own alcohol onto the site. Only beverages purchased at the festival arenas and bars will be permitted. Any breach of these rules will severely jeopordises the future of the festival. Anybody bought caught attempting to bring alcoholic beverages onto the festival site will not be admitted, or will be asked to leave.

What's on sale?
Macclesfield Rugby club will be the sole providers of reasonable priced drinks, meals and snacks, available throughout the weekend. Under no circumstances will any glasses, bottles or other drinking vessels, apart from those supplied by Macclesfield Rugby Club be allowed on the festival site. Macclesfield Rugby Club is a sports arena used by adults and children and must be kept in a safe, clean condition.

Are pets allowed?
No animals whatsoever will be allowed on site.

Once I have arrived on site, are pass outs available?
Yes, pass outs are available up to 8 pm each night, after which, gates will be closed.

Can we have a campfire?
No, absolutely not. Health and Safety laws strictly forbid campfires.

What if it rains?
Macclesfield is situated in the North West of England, and rain is therefore a possibility. All performances will be held under cover, so the rain will not spoil your enjoyment, however, please be sure to bring suitable clothing, even if you are not camping.

Can I bring my campervan?
Yes, campervans are welcome and can be safely parked throughout the weekend at no extra cost.

Will I be able to park my car?
Yes, there is ample car parking space throughout the weekend. Please park considerately in the designated areas.

Can I smoke?
Yes, but in compliance with UK law, smoking will not be permitted in the performance areas, or in any other covered areas.
